Funding under the frames of Innovation Incubator 2.0 programme
The Investment Committee of the Innovation Incubator 2.0 programme granted 30 750,00 PLN for pre-implementation works under the title “Method of preparing plant material and the method of detecting and identifying bacteria from the species Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum, Pectobacterium atrosepticum and bacteria from the genus Dickeya” to the team of Research & Development Laboratory of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology University of Gdańsk and Medical University of Gdańsk: professor Ewa Łojkowska, MSc Agata Motyka-Pomagruk, MSc Weronika Babińska, Dr eng. Wojciech Śledź.
The Innovation Incubator 2.0 programme is financed by the European Union (financing agreement No. MNiSW / 2019/169 / DIR) under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020.
Realisation of the project is coordinated by the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Gdańsk.
Professor Ewa Łojkowska involved in realisation of a new project from Horizon 2020 programme
The obtained RESBIOS project (RESponsible research and innovation grounding practices in BIOSciences) is a continuation of the ongoing STARBIOS2 project that kindly supported Research and Development Laboratory of IFB UG & MUG. The main objective of RESBIOS is to introduce the concept of RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation) into research institutions from the field of biological and related sciences. That activity shall lead to institutional changes in relation to five key areas of RRI (social involvement, education, gender equality, open access and ethics).
The project will last three years and will be realised in a consortium gathering 12 partners from 11 countries, under the coordination of University of Tor Vergata in Rome. The Project’s budget is 1.5 million euro.
Project Manager from Univeristy of Gdańsk is Professor Krzysztof Bielawski – Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with Business and Industry.
Professor Ewa Łojkowska was also involved in this project proposal.
