We are extremely pleased to announce that Dr. Weronika Babińska-Wensierska was awarded during the9th National Microbiological Symposium “Metagenomics of Various Environments”, which took place on June 23-24, 2025 at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
For her presentation entitled “The role of soil microbiota in the development of disease symptoms of blackleg and wet rot of potatoes – identification of the natural antagonist Paenibacillus sp.“, Dr. Babińska-Wensierska received:
→Award for the best presentationgranted by the Polish Genetics Society,
→3rd distinction for the best presentation, awarded by the Organizing Committee of the Symposium.
This research was carried out in the frames of Preludium 21 project (2022/45/N/NZ9/01923) headed by her.

Dr. Agata Motyka-Pomagruk presented the assumptions of the Lider XV project (LIDER15/0126/2024) at the meeting at the NCBR office in Brussels
