The obtained RESBIOS project (RESponsible research and innovation grounding practices in BIOSciences) is a continuation of the ongoing STARBIOS2 project that kindly supported Research and Development Laboratory of IFB UG & MUG. The main objective of RESBIOS is to introduce the concept of RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation) into research institutions from the field of biological and related sciences. That activity shall lead to institutional changes in relation to five key areas of RRI (social involvement, education, gender equality, open access and ethics).
The project will last three years and will be realised in a consortium gathering 12 partners from 11 countries, under the coordination of University of Tor Vergata in Rome. The Project’s budget is 1.5 million euro.
Project Manager from Univeristy of Gdańsk is Professor Krzysztof Bielawski – Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with Business and Industry.
Professor Ewa Łojkowska was also involved in this project proposal.
